Yule or the Winter Solstice is held on or around the 21st of December. It marks the end of the long nights and the shortest day of the year. It is a time of celebration and rebirths. This year's Yule also fell on the night of the full moon and a lunar eclipse. This made the date all the more significant. It is a good time of year to reinvent yourself or start a new project or even take up an old one again.
The colours associated with this day are red and green and Yule was the ancient Pagan holiday that many of the traditions were later adapted for Christmas.
